CHRISTINA CHIARELLI

Christina Chiarelli is a reporter for WRNN-TV/Verizon FiOS1 News in New York.

 

She is a strong storyteller who shoots, writes and edits news packages on deadline as well as reports live in the field.  Her reports are broadcasted in households across the Lower Hudson Valley, New Jersey and Long Island.  

 

As a general assignment reporter, Christina is immersed in a range of stories.  In 2015, she had the opportunity to produce multiple reports following Pope Francis during his visit in Philadelphia.  

 

Christina is a recipient of an Excellence in Journalism award from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists.  In 2014, she was recognized for online multimedia storytelling.  

 

Before joining the FiOS1 news team, she reported for a daily video news website based in Connecticut.  She's also shot and produced public service videos pro bono for non-profit organizations. 

 

Christina holds a degree in journalism from Southern Connecticut State University.  While at SCSU, she specialized in broadcast news and video production.
